Electronic Arts has officially announced a release window for the long-awaited next game in the Star Wars: Battlefront franchise.

While an official date has not been locked in at the moment, EA has revealed that the game will be released during the holiday season of 2015, just a little over a year from this very moment.

Here’s the announcement EA made on the Twitter:

May the Force be with you: Star Wars Battlefront will release for Holiday 2015.

We haven’t seen much of the game yet; so far all we have to go on is the brief announcement teaser that was shown at E3 2013, and that slightest of peeks we got at E3 2014.
