BioShock is one of my all-time favorite games, and I’ve been itching to return to the underwater city of Rapture for some time now. I’ve played the opening many times—again, one of the very best—but haven’t seen it through since that first time. That changed earlier this month, and it was just as beautiful and terrifying and unforgettable as ever. And it came with an added bonus.
While searching for related videos on YouTube, I came across this little treat. BioShock: A Radio Drama—an impressive old school style radio production adapted from BioShock and the John Shirley novel BioShock: Rapture. And this isn’t just a few minutes for fun, either; this is a two-part (so far), over two-and-a-half-hour production, with top-notch voice acting and sound work.
You can give it a listen below the surface!
