While visiting The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, the iconic actor Paul Reubens (most famously known as Pee-Wee Herman) teased the audience with details about the long-awaited follow-up movie to the sensational Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure that came out in 1985.
You can watch the video interview here below.
Reubens said that the official announcement with even more details about the new movie would probably be made some time in early November. What he could tell us was that Judd Apatow is producing and that a director to be revealed later has been hired. Production on the long-awaited film starts in Spring of 2015.
Wouldn’t it be cool if they got Tim Burton to come back for this upcoming movie? Fallon in the course of their talk mentioned that the first film (which most people probably didn’t know) was the directorial debut of Burton way back when. Are you excited about another big adventure?
