Legendary and Universal Pictures have released a new trailer for Blackhat, their upcoming action film starring Chris Hemsworth.
Watch the new trailer here below.
The Michael Mann-directed film, which also stars Viola Davis, Tang Wei, and Wang Leehom, hits in theaters on January 16, 2015.
The movie revolves around a cybercrime, where in order to find the culprit, a convicted genius hacker — Hemsworth’s character Hathaway — is taken out of prison and brought in to solve the case that takes him across the world. While the trailer shows off director Mann’s more dramatic side, the footage looks as though you could easily have swapped in Tom Cruise for Hemsworth, and let’s face it, Hemsworth’s shirt is definitely coming off and so are his pants when he sleeps with the girl who’s traveling the world with him that he just met five minutes ago (and I’m OK with that).
Check out our photo gallery from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, where Hemsworth made an appearance to promote Blackhat.
