Dickens plays Nancy Tomkins, a guidance counselor with a dark past who’s trying to survive the zombie apocalypse along with a divorced teacher (Curtis). Dillane and Debnam Carey play her children.
She is best known for her roles in movies like Hollow Man, The Gift, Thank You For Smoking, and most recently, David Fincher’s Gone Girl, and also for roles on TV shows including Deadwood, LOST, Friday Night Lights, Treme, and Sons of Anarchy.
Also revealed recently is the setting of the Walking Dead companion series, which will take place in the Los Angeles area.
