Doc Savage Special 2014 is a send-off of sorts to the Doc Savage title that Dynamite published through 2014. While it doesn’t focus on Doc himself specifically, he does play a pretty important role. But, I know you’re all wondering if this book is worth the $7.99 price tag or are you better off buying a coffee at Starbucks. Here’s my take…

The Gold Box spotlight deal of the day over at Amazon today is Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Seasons 1-5 Blu-ray box set for only $91.49 (that’s 39% the list price of $149.99).

The DVD box set is also on sale today at 42% off – $69.00 (down from $119.98).

Both box sets contain Seasons 1-5 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated television series (14 Blu-ray discs; 19 DVDs) and include over 7 hours of bonus content like deleted scenes, cast and crew interviews, making-of featurettes, and more, along with a collectible 54-page Art of the Clone Wars booklet.

It’s a slow news day, as you might have expected, so why not watch some more remakes of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer!

This time it’s a pair of trailers that were remade using Grand Theft Auto V as well as its online multiplayer option Grand Theft Auto Online. One uses player-created characters and the other uses more familiar faces from the game.

When it comes to TV holiday specials, they usually are done with sitcoms and animated series and such with shows like Doctor Who and Sherlock also thrown in for good measure.

But what if even the most dramatic of TV shows, such as HBO’s True Detective, were to have their very own Christmas special. What might that look like? We’ll never know for sure, but a new video from YouTube channel Heck Bender might just offer the best example.

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Entourage movie has been released online by Warner Brothers Pictures.
