He’s met The Punisher, he’s met KISS, and soon, Archie will go up against Predator!
It was announced back in October at NYCC that Dark Horse and Archie Comics would be teaming up for the crossover event called Archie Meets Predator from writer Alex de Campi (Grindhouse, Lady Zorro, Smoke/Ashes) with art by Fernando Ruiz.
Now, the 4-issue miniseries has been renamed Archie Vs. Predator, and a few of the covers for the first issue have been released. Check out the covers – from Francesco Francavilla (Afterlife with Archie), Eric Powell (The Goon), and Fernando Ruiz (veteran Archie artist) — as well as a promo image for Archie vs. Predator #1, here below.
Writer Alex de Campi said back in October that the miniseries would be taking the original teen-friendly Archie comics and “slaughtering all of its characters with Predators” and that the Archie people asked her to make it as “gory as possible.”
Archie vs. Predator #1 will be out on April 15, 2015.
