Shane Black‘s The Predator had a panel during San Diego Comic-Con 2018, and while there was no new trailer to show off, there was the traditional footage that got attendees excited.
But for those who are unable to attend, there’s something to help you feel like you are there. 20th Century Fox has just revealed a new poster, and judging by the headcount, it took a lot of victims to make the poster look as cool as it does. Check it out below.
As you can see, the poster is downright chilling. Just how many people did the Predator kill to put this thing together? Judging by this poster alone, I can tell the film will be violent. Then you combine the fact that this will have Black’s signature writing style in the film, so you know it’s going to be funny.
But this poster is nothing when compared to that other poster with a Super Predator holding the head of another predator, whose spine is just hanging (seen here). But you get the idea: both humans and predators are going to die.
Here’s the synopsis:
From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.
The Predator stars Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Jake Busey, and Augusto Aguilera.
The Predator opens September 14th, 2018. Be sure to check out our previous coverage of the film, which includes two trailers and other tidbits.
