Now that the Terminator GenisysSuper Bowl Spot is out, the film’s star Arnold Schwarzenegger has posted a video to his Facebook page revealing his pick for tonight’s big game.
But the video reveals more than just the former California governor’s favorite team for tonight’s game – it also inconspicuously includes a Terminator hand!
Check out the video here below, which shows the Terminator actor using the metal exoskeleton of the popular Skynet robot to hold up one side of a sign that reads “#”ŽMySuperBowlPick”¬” (with the logo of his pick below it).
See our Super Bowl category to watch all the movie trailers and TV spots airing during tonight’s big game. Some have already been released online, like those for Terminator Genisys, Minions, Hot Tub Time Machine 2 and a tiny peek at Tomorrowland; the remaining spots, including ones for Jurassic World, Furious 7, and the full video for Tomorrowland, will be posted at Geeks Of Doom as soon as they’re available. (BTW – in case you’re not aware, this year’s Super Bowl sees the New England Patriots vs. the Seattle Seahawks, and as a result, Captain America vs. Star-Lord as well.)
Terminator Genisys, which hits theaters on July 1, 2015, will see the full return of franchise star Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, who, similar to his character in 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day, will be a protector, known here as The Guardian.
When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future”¦
