Fifty Shades Of Grey actor Jamie Dornan is currently out making the talk show rounds to promote his new film, which opened in theaters this weekend. One of those promotional stops was to The Graham Norton Show last night, where he came face to face with a life-sized cake of his Christian Grey character.
While standing with Norton, British actor Stephen Mangan, and Harry Potter actress Julie Walters, Dornan took a taste from the Christian Grey cake, after Norton quite awkwardly cut slices from the gut area. One of the cake’s creators was in the audience and she revealed a few details about the edible version of the character with “singular tastes” (BDSM, people!).
Watch the videos here below of Dornan on The Graham Norton Show having a taste of the aforementioned cake as well as doing the interview portion of the episode where the host asked the audience if they’ve read Fifty Shades Of Grey.
The Northern Irish actor, who assumes an American accent and a clean shave to play the hunky billionaire in Fifty Shades Of Grey, appeared on the talk show in a suit, sporting a full beard and seeming a bit uncomfortable whilst standing next to his shirtless confectionary replica. A man of few words, Dornan couldn’t help but ask the cake maker one question, simply “Why?” Thankfully, the answer was not because she was obsessed with him or his character, but rather that is was for a professional project for her and her collaborators. It took a team of four cake creators about 2-3 weeks to make the massive Grey cake, which had sculpted muscles, unzipped jeans, and a towel around its neck.
