The Oscars are behind us and while we may agree or disagree on the hosting job, or whether or not the winners deserved to win, the event is one that everyone is talking about, as actors and actresses make the late night and daytime talk show rounds.

Jimmy Kimmel had a special Jimmy Kimmel Live episode that aired Sunday night after the 87th Annual Academy Awards live broadcast, and it began as the Oscars began, with Neil Patrick Harris.

Kimmel knocks on NPH’s dressing room door while he is the middle of a phone call after just finishing up hosting the Oscars. Kimmel reminds Harris of the first time they met, at a Christmas party, and pulls out the gift Harris gave him in 2003 – a homemade book of coupons. Harris tries to get out of it, but Jimmy Kimmel is having none of that.

Harris: “You can’t redeem them 12 years later.”
Kimmel: “Really? Is that in the fine print?”

Well, the bit wouldn’t be a bit if Harris didn’t succumb to the sanctity of the crayon-colored coupon book. The video is only three minutes and I don’t want to give away too much, but it does end in a little bit of vomit.

What is fun about Jimmy Kimmel is his ability to remain serious when he is being weird in his comedy. He gets his guests to follow suit, which is why the “Mean Tweets” is such an hilarious segment.
