I’m to the point where I wish Vin Diesel would just say it. I want him to just go ahead and say “I am Blackagar Boltagon!”

Esquire Magazine did a fast and furious “60 second” interview with the star of Furious 7 and Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Groot, where he reaffirmed what anyone who follows his Facebook or Instagram pages already knew: Vin is a proud geek at heart. In the process, Diesel also dropped another hint at a possible role in Marvel’s Inhumans movie, which the studio announced a November 2, 2018 release date for back in October when they unveiled their schedule for the next four years, including release dates for Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and the two-part Avengers: Infinity War.

And then he got into the really meaty stuff, and take notice that once again Diesel is highlighting a somewhat obscure superhero here that he has long since been rumored to be in the running for.

Superman or Batman?

Marvel.

OK, Wolverine or Cyclops?

Guardians! [Cackles] OK, Black Bolt. Black Bolt, Black Bolt, Black Bolt.

So yeah, yet again, Diesel is mentioning Black Bolt, leader and ruler of the Inhumans. With Marvel’s Phase Three Inhumans only a few years off, can we just confirm this already so I can justify my own personal sheer excitement at that fantasy casting choice???
