The Last Man on Earth, Will Forte, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and talked (and sang) beards and the new show (mostly beards) with host Jimmy Fallon. Forte had also taped a fairly new Tonight Show game while he was hanging backstage called “Would You Rather,” available only on the web. In this game, he answered a bunch of viewer-submitted choices. And believe me – the choices weren’t easy.
Watch all the awesome videos here below.
Forte revealed to Fallon that when he had to shave off his beard for an episode of The Last Man On Earth (Episode 1.4 “Sweet Melissa”), his mom asked him to send her the beard hair for an arts and crafts project. He then sang an impromptu ode to his beard.
“What do you do when your beard’s gone?
Your trusted hair friend you could count on.
You give it to your mother in a plastic sack
And wait to see her masterpiece.”
The “Would You Rather” segment posed some toughies for our “Last Man,” but I think he powered through.
Some picks?
Thumb-sized head or head-sized thumb? Thumb-sized head.
Eat a living beetle or drink a glass of sand? Eat the beetle.
Ketchup dispensing bellybutton or pencil-sharpening nostrils? Bellybutton.
He also gives very “analytical” reasons for his choices.
Will Forte is Phil Miller. That’s why Last Man is getting better and funnier each week.
The Last Man on Earth airs Sunday nights on FOX.
