The Thing Finally Revealed In New ‘Fantastic Four’ Image

The Fantastic Four Movie 2015 Team

The Thing was unwittingly revealed recently when someone posted a photo of themselves with a Fantastic Four promotional banner that featured all four characters in their super powered form. The blurred photo wasn’t the best way to introduce the character to the world, but it was out there never the less as so many movie related things seem to prematurely be in this day and age. As a result, 20th Century Fox was forced to act, and they have done so by releasing a clear image of the rock hard Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell).

The studio has also unveiled two additional photos which makes Fantastic Four look like a superhero version of Interstellar. Hit the jump to check out the latest photos.

The images were first revealed over at Empire.

It would be pretty hard to get The Thing wrong, and it looks like director Josh Trank and writer Simon Kinberg got him right. Now it will be interesting to see what he looks like in action. We still have yet to see Reed Richards (Miles Teller) use his stretch powers, so far trailers have only revealed him throwing out his arm. An international trailer revealed the powers of The Human Torch (Michael B. Jordan) and The Invisible Woman (Kate Mara).

I’m sure we will get to see all their powers in the next few promotional materials, maybe even at Comic-Con.

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Fantastic Four opens on August 7.
