Arrow and The Flash are skipping Thanksgiving week next week, and we will all be quite sad. However, beginning with The Flash on Tuesday, December 1st, and continuing on Arrow on Wednesday, December 2nd, comes the 2-night crossover event we’ve been waiting for since the season began. Crossovers between these two shows were the highlights of last season for both of them. We’ve had some guest appearances, but nothing like this.

In the trailer, it looks like they get together for the holiday in friendship, but then Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) shows up, whom nobody likes. They need to stop an immortal, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), who wants to destroy reincarnated preistess Kendra aka Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee). And poor Cisco (Carlos Valdes)! He only got one real date with her! The video shows Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), who is quite handsome and Kendra’s soulmate. He tells her those past memories will come back.The CW gang vows to protect them and Central City.

“Since when did our lives suddenly become Indiana Jones?” Love you Cisco!

The Flash episode is titled “Legends of Today,” and the Arrow one is “Legends of Yesterday.” Vandal Savage is so bad, it takes “2 nights to fight” him. This also means that Legends of Tomorrow isn’t too far behind. I can’t wait!

“Heroes join forces!” on Tuesday, December 1st and Wednesday, December 2nd, both at 8:00pm ET on The CW.
