Warning – SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Season 6…

Seriously……… SPOILERS……

In The Waking Dead Episode 6.3 “Thank You”, Glenn (Steven Yeun), one of the most beloved characters on the show, was presumed death. Ever the hero, Glenn had branched off from the main group with former nemesis Nicholas to try to salvage their mission to lure the Walkers away from the Alexandria Safe Zone.

Glenn and Nicholas end up surrounded by Walkers, with no escape in sight. Nicholas opts out completely by shooting himself in the head, causing the two of them to fall off the dumpster they were standing on, and right into the waiting hands of the Walkers below. Here’s where we think this is it for Glenn, as we see the Walkers ripping someone’s body up.

In this week’s episode, Episode 6.7 “Heads Up,” we finally learned what happened to Glenn — watch the video here below that shows the character’s fate.

And…

He’s alive!!!

The video below shows 3 minutes of tonight’s episode that starts with Glenn and Nicholas falling off the dumpster.

What made Season 6 so difficult to get through so far is that once Glenn was presumed dead, we got three more episodes where we are not told what happened to him at all. Is he dead? Or was that Nicholas’s dead body on top of him getting pulled apart and eaten? And if he did survive, HOW?

What happens next pretty much follows every fan prediction/hope: He manages to hide under the dumpster.

But even though Glenn survived that Walker attack, that didn’t mean he made it out of there alive. He still had to get out of the area and away from the Walkers. On top of that, there’s just plain old human survival, like food and water. So, it was great that we got to see what exactly happened, and then his journey to try to make it back to his pregnant wife Maggie and their fellow residents at the Alexandria Safe Zone.

Like I mentioned in my review of the episode, I am so happy Glenn is back, now that we know that the villain Negan is coming to the show, it’s time to start worrying again.
