Here’s a description of the movie:
The young Arthur runs the back passages of Londonium with his crew, not knowing his royal lineage until he grabs Excalibur. Instantly confronted by the sword’s influence, Arthur is forced to make up his mind. He joins the rebellion and a shadowy young woman named Guinevere, he must learn to understand the magic weapon, deal with his demons and unite the people to defeat the dictator Vortigern, the man who murdered his parents and stole his crown to become king.

The poster is a simple one indeed, but as you can see in the tweet from the film’s official Twitter account below it, the poster is just the beginning of Arthur’s presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. A trailer for the movie is set to be released during the Warner Brothers panel on Saturday.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword was originally scheduled for release on July 22, 2016. Which is right now. It has since been pushed back to February 2017, and then again to its current date, March 24, 2017.
