At San Diego Comic-Con on Friday night, the Vikings crew sailed in and wowed everyone as expected. The panel consisted of Travis Fimmel (“Ragnarâ€), Katheryn Winnick (“Lagerthaâ€), Clive Standen (“Rolloâ€), Alexander Ludwig (“Bjornâ€), Gustaf Skarsgard (“Flokiâ€) and Michael Hirst (writer/creator) – the dream panel, really. There a new trailer was unveiled, and it promises that the second half of Season 4 will be incredible. But do we expect anything else?
Check out the trailer here below.
The Season 4B trailer begins with face flashes much like the earlier teaser, with ominous music and serious stares.
“Your father’s return brings calamity, chaos, tragedy, and death.” Oh, that seer is such a “glass half full” kinda guy!
We see Bjorn goes to his Uncle Rollo for safe passage to the Mediterranean. I am just so glad they aren’t trying to kill each other!
Some other bits include axes to the chest (have you met Vikings?), Ragnar in a cage, and Lagertha’s return. Thank goodness! We were worried.
If you have passes for this year’s SDCC, you can check out Booth #4215 on the convention floor this weekend to check out the Vikings “Vipers Den” as well as SDCC exclusive merch.
“VIKINGS†VIPERS DEN – San Diego Convention Center – Booth #4215 – July 20-24
There were many ways to die during the Vikings era, however the most brutal and sinister form of death was being thrown into a snake pit. HISTORY assimilates the torture and terror with the “Vikings†Vipers Den on the SDCC floor. Fans will experience the fear of being surrounded by real snakes in a dark, dank abyss with no immediate escape.
Attendees will have their screams and writhing captured on camera in sharable gifs and receive a “Vikings†viper cuff as a token of their triumph over death. Throughout the five day booth activation, there will be opportunities for fans to enter for chances to win tickets to the “Vikings†cast panel or the “Vikings†cast autograph session, both on Friday, July 22.
SDCC “VIKINGS†EXCLUSIVES – Also available to fans while supplies last is a custom “Vikings†limited edition comic book from a story created by Michael Hirst, exclusively for SDCC and a “Vikings†drinking horn.
Be sure to check out all of our coverage of this year’s SDCC.
