MADtv returned to television Tuesday night, and brought back the zaniest satire ever. The original show, which aired for 14 seasons, ending in 2009, was a popular sketch comedy series based on Mad Magazine. It is back for an 8-episode season. One good way to gain more viewers is to parody the most popular show in America, Game of Thrones.

The show has a brand new cast, and although reviews comparing it to the old one are more on the unfavorable side, this GoT skit is funny because it’s true, especially when it’s about the confusing character nicknames, royal lines, and geography.

Breaker of Chains, Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, Unburned, First of her Name, & Queen of the Andals. Huh?

The best bits are Khal Drogo and how the couple sees the show – “Shhh… Just watch!”
