German thrash titan Kreator is set to kick off 2017 in epic fashion with the release of its fourteenth studio album Gods of Violence. The album arrives January 27th via the Nuclear Blast label and is the follow up to 2012’s excellent Phantom Antichrist.

The five-year gap between the two albums marks the longest period of recording inactivity in Kreator’s 35-year career. It seems the wait may have been worth it though as we’re getting a sneak peak with the release of the first single, which is also the title track of the album.
