Last time on Colony, Katie and Broussard (Sarah Wayne Callies, Tory Kittles) tried to help the kid from the cell that Will let go, but the redhats got to him first. Men burst into the house and killed Lindsey (Erin Way). Charlie and Gracie (Jacob Buster, Isabella Crovetti-Cramp) hid on the roof, until their parents came and killed everyone. Snyder made Bram (Peter Jacobson, Alex Neustaedter) give up the other kids who planned the bombing. He shot them all except Bram. Helena (Ally Walker) went to the prison to pick up Snyder before it was demolished. He took Bram too.

Spoilers below.

Colony 2.9 “Tamam Shud” review: A couple works on a plane that uses analog signals. They fly into the bloc (into?). One makes it, the other doesn’t. Will scrambles the radio frequency from the dead guy’s pack on the sly.

Katie goes to Broussard to find out more info on the plane from Hennessey. Problem is… Hennessey’s throat is cut. They go to Hennessey’s lair and start talking to Den Mother, but as soon as they don’t have the code, everyone switches frequencies.

Bob goes to Bennett (Christian Clemenson) and says that Will is working for the resistance. Enough credence (the file convo in the kitchen between sisters) is given to that to get an investigation approved. He is told that stuff was deleted and what they do have is that the Bowmans are super boring. Bob infers that Jennifer deleted the incriminating stuff.

Will goes to an electronics shop and sends a friendly message to the pilot. Emmett (Kwesi Boakye) gives up Katie. The redhats go to the kids and wait.

Proxy Alcala (Tony Plana) and Helena go head to head. She calls for Snyder.

Will goes to meet Katie but realizes that his cover is blown. He takes a call at a coffee shop, and they take him. Bob tells him they have his kids. He can’t give them Broussard (no trust), but he does get the pilot to talk to him and agree to meet him.

Katie and Broussard kill all the redhats holding the kids. Bob and Bennett lost their leverage and Will can see it, so Will stabs Bob and runs, saved by the pilot. He makes it back to Broussard’s, and tells him that the pilot wants to meet him on her terms.

Pilot: “I’m here because the real war is about to begin.”

Jacob Buster tweeted that a line he said got cut out, when Katie rescued the kids – “Mom’s home.” That definitely should have stayed in. I find the character of Charlie fascinating. Bram is all about rebelling and blaming his dad for everything, and Gracie is a scared little girl, but Charlie is a survivor, exactly like his parents.

I’m dying to know how Snyder will play his next hand and what will happen to Katie’s sister, now that they know she knew about the stolen file. This episode was so exciting, but there are so many unfinished pieces left. I do wish Bram would stop being so angry at his dad. That is the only thing that annoys me. Will almost dies every 5 seconds, and Bram needs to appreciate that.

Colony airs Thursday nights at 10:00pm ET on USA.
