| E3 2017: First Gameplay Demo For New ‘Spider-Man’ Game
During Sony’s PlayStation showcase at E3 last year, an announcement trailer was released for a new Spider-Man game being made by Ratchet & Clank and Sunset Overdrive developer Insomniac Games. For E3 2017, Sony and Insomniac delivered the first gameplay demo for the game, which appears to be simply titled Spider-Man. The gameplay video runs about nine minutes in length, and it’s looking like a hell of a lot of fun to be had if you’re a Spidey fan. It also ends with a reveal of which Spider-Man the game is using. | E3 2017: ‘Shadow Of The Colossus’ Remake Announced
When Sony’s PlayStation media briefing at E3 2017 kicked off tonight, the music that began playing immediately reminded me of some music from an all-time favorite game of mine, Shadow of the Colossus. After a few seconds it became clear that it definitely wasn’t—it ended up being for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy—but still, for a moment I was very excited. Then, as if the video game gods had felt that excitement, a trailer for a Shadow of the Colossus remake was playing on my screen, and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I then found out that whispers of this began making their way around the ‘net hours ago, and I was one of the few actually shocked to see it. But nevertheless, the excitement was real. Last we heard when it comes to the seemingly mythical sequel to the wonderful 2003 game Beyond Good & Evil, was designer Michel Ancel saying it was once again in pre-production. The film introduced viewers to Bambi, his friends Thumper the rabbit and Flower the skunk, and shows the trials and tribulations of these woodland animals as they navigate childhood, love, and loss. The film features one of the most heart wrenching scenes in film history as Bambi’s mother is shot dead by a hunter. This scene was so impactful that the American Film Institute listed “man” as their #20 greatest villain in their 100 Years… 100 Heroes and Villains list.
