An official trailer has been released for The Man Who Invented Christmas. The movie is the latest to tell the story of the creation of a classic story, similar to what we saw in Finding Neverland with the creation of Peter Pan, and the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh we’ll be seeing in Goodbye Christopher Robin.
It follows author Charles Dickens as he finds inspiration for what would become a holiday season classic, A Christmas Carol, a story that has been adapted into many different movies and TV specials over the years. Dickens is played in the movie by Dan Stevens (Beauty and the Beast, Downton Abbey), with Christopher Plummer (A Beautiful Mind, The Sound of Music) playing Ebenezer Scrooge.
