Amazon Prime Video

Amazon has announced the full lineup of movies and television shows set to arrive on Prime Video in the new month.

This includes a few highlighted titles coming to the streaming service as well as a little bit about them, followed by the rest of the incoming movies and TV shows and the date they’ll be added to Prime Video. All of the Amazon Arrivals for July 2018 can be found below.

Jaws Franchise

With Jaws, Steven Spielberg invented the summer action blockbuster. His 1975 masterpiece broke box office records and made an entire generation think twice about going to the beach. The story about a shark that terrorizes a New England resort town also spawned three sequels: Jaws 2, Jaws 3-D and Jaws: The Revenge. (1975-87, PG and PG-13)

The Twilight Saga “” July 1

Teenage romance and the supernatural intertwine in this series of films based on the bestselling novels by Stephenie Meyer. Kristen Stewart stars as Bella, a high-school girl torn between Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Edward (Robert Pattinson). The triangle is complicated by one boy being a werewolf and the other a vampire. (2008-12, PG-13)

The Americans, Season 6 “” July 29

One of the most compelling dramas of recent vintage concludes with a stirring 10-episode final season. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star as Soviet spies undercover as American citizens in Reagan-era Washington. They deal with conflicting loyalties to their homeland, their adopted country, their children and each other. (TV-MA)

NYPD Blue “” July 1

An old favorite that holds up well 25 years after its debut. NYPD Blue follows the detectives of a fictional Manhattan precinct through their professional and private lives. The ever-evolving cast at times included Jimmy Smits, David Caruso and Amy Brenneman. The series won 20 Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series in 1995. (TV-14)

Burn Notice “” July 1

Jeffrey Donovan plays Michael Westen, a former CIA operative who gets “burned” by the agency “” meaning he can never work as a spy again. Westen puts his skills to work as a private eye, aided by two shady friends and his mother (Sharon Gless). A fun, funny detective series. (TV-PG)

The Closer “” July 1

Kyra Sedgwick won an Emmy for portraying Brenda Johnson, a quirky homicide detective with a knack for extracting confessions. She heads the LAPD’s Priority Homicide Division, which takes on the city’s most difficult cases. (TV-14)

21 Jump Street, Seasons 1-2 “” July 1

Perhaps best remembered as the series that made Johnny Depp famous back in 1987, 21 Jump Street was also a solid police drama. The show concerned a team of undercover officers who looked young enough to pass as teenagers. (TV-14)

Eat. Race. Win. (Prime Original) “” July 27

The Prime Original docu-series follows chef Hannah Grant as she races to feed a hungry Tour de France cycling team. Each day of the tour, Grant and her team pack up, move their kitchen, find ingredients and cook the day’s meals “” then do it again the next day. (TV-14)

Breakfast at Tiffany’s “” July 1

Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard star in this romantic comedy-drama about the complicated relationship between an ambitious young party girl and her writer neighbor. (1961, NR)

Tumble Leaf (Prime Original series), Season 4, Part 1 “” July 24

The Emmy-winning animated series serves up another plateful of charming episodes for the preschool crowd. Fig the fox explores the island of Tumble Leaf with his pal Stick the caterpillar. Each episode contains a science lesson (but you don’t have to tell your kids that). (TV-Y)
