Paramount Pictures has released a new featurette video for Rocketman, the Elton John biopic starring Taron Egerton as the legendary musician.
The video features Egerton, director Dexter Fletcher, and music producer Giles Martin talking about the movie. You can check out the video along with a recently released poster below.
Starring alongside Egerton is Jamie Bell, Richard Madden, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The screenplay was written by Lee Hall, whose previous credits include War Horse and Billy Elliot, with the latter scoring him an Academy Award nomination.
Fletcher previously directed Egerton in 2015’s Eddie the Eagle and is coming off of another musical biopic, having replaced Bryan Singer as the director of Bohemian Rhapsody. That film tells the story of Freddie Mercury and Queen, with Rami Malek playing Mercury. It’s currently nominated for five Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Malek.
Rocketman is set to be released in theaters on May 31st.
