Netflix has released an official trailer for the upcoming Bonnie and Clyde movie The Highwaymen, which stars Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson. And no, Costner and Harrelson are not playing Bonnie and Clyde.
The movie tells the story of the Texas Rangers who took down the infamous criminal duo in the 1930s, with Costner and Harrelson playing the two lawmen. You can find more info on the movie and watch the trailer below.
Starring alongside Costner (Molly’s Game, Hidden Figures) and Harrelson (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Zombieland 2) in The Highwaymen is Oscar winner Kathy Bates (Misery, Titanic), John Carroll Lynch (Fargo, Zodiac), Kim Dickens (Gone Girl, Fear the Walking Dead), W. Earl Brown (Deadwood, There’s Something About Mary), and Thomas Mann (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Kong: Skull Island).
The film is directed by John Lee Hancock, whose previous credits include The Rookie, The Alamo, The Blind Side, Saving Mr. Banks, and The Founder.
Hancock also co-wrote the screenplay along with John Fusco, who wrote Young Guns and its sequel, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Hidalgo, The Forbidden Kingdom, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, and also created and wrote episodes of Marco Polo.
The Highwaymen is set to be released on Netflix in about one month on March 29th.
