Inception is one of the most anticipated films of the year and Warner Bros. knows this. They’ve been pretty spectacular with their marketing campaign for the film so far, culminating in a new online 19-page comic book prequel entitled, Inception: The Cobol Job which can be found over at Yahoo Movies.
The Cobol Job is the story that leads to the opening of the film. If you read the comic on Yahoo there’s a pretty cool reader that mimics the ComiXology reader, going panel by panel. There’s also an option to download it as a PDF to read offline. The story is written by Jordan Goldberg with art by Long Vo, Joe Ng, and Crystal Reid.

It sure has been fun following the word sparring between Marvel’s Kevin Feige and Edward Norton’s agent, Brian Swardstrom, hasn’t it? Feige announced this week that Norton would not be returning as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in future Marvel films, namely The Avengers, which prompted a defensive response from the actor’s agent.
Well hang on tight kids because there’s more fun to be had with this one! In typical 2010 fashion, the man himself, Edward Norton, has now released an official statement to us via his official Facebook page! Check out the full statement here below. His statement seems too politically correct for my tastes. I want to hear what Norton’s ACTUALLY thinking without having to worry about ruffling any feathers!

| Yelchin Out For Peter Parker, Possibly In For Harry Osborn? |

Those good ole boys over at /Film are reporting an interesting casting rumor regarding Mark Webb’s upcoming Spider-Man reboot. Anton Yelchin could be the next actor to portray Harry Osborn.
If you recall, Yelchin was one of those actors rumored to be in the running for Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the film. As we found out, the role eventually went to Andrew Garfield, but if the rumor is correct, Yelchin could still be a part of the production. I was originally OK with him being Peter Parker, but this new rumor seems a bit more interesting to me. Previously, Osborn was portrayed by one of my current favorite actors, James Franco, but I never really felt like that casting choice totally clicked. Yelchin has impressed me in pretty much every role I’ve seen him in and I would have total confidence in him if this rumor turned out to be true.

If you’re like me, when Disney’s acquisition of Marvel was announced, the first thing you thought about was the Marvel attraction at Universal Studios Florida (Islands Of Adventure) and how the characters wouldn’t be able to appear at both the Disney and Universal parks simultaneously.
Well have no fear true believers, it looks like all your favorite Marvel characters will be at your favorite Disney parks around the world in the very near future. Deadline reported that Marvel and Universal severed ties on the West Coast, which could potentially allow Marvel’s characters to appear in Disneyland without disrupting Universal’s Marvel theme park in Florida.
