| NYCC 2014: NBC’s ‘Constantine’ Pilot & Panel
Saturday night at New York Comic-Con, fans got another chance to watch the Constantine TV pilot, Episode 1.1 “Non Est Asylum,” in Empire Stage 1-E. Based on the DC Comics character from Hellblazer (DC’s Vertigo imprint) then Constantine series, John Constantine is an exorcist, demonologist, and master of the dark arts (or petty dabbler as Constantine would say). His soul is damned to hell with no hope for redemption (or is there?). After the viewing of the pilot (which we talked about here — full review to come), there was a short audience Q&A with writer David S. Goyer and stars Matt Ryan (Constantine) and Angelica Celaya (Zed), which got right to the heart of it.

| NYCC 2014: DC Entertainment All Access: Essentials
On Sunday afternoon at New York Comic-Con, DC Entertainment held an “All Access: Essentials” panel hosted by John Cunningham of marketing, and Mark Doyle, the group editor of the Batman books, just in time for Batman’s 75th anniversary. WB animation commissioned two special shorts that although released, have never been screened for audiences on a large screen. The panel audience enjoyed “Strange Days” by Bruce Tim that has a late 1930s feel, and a “Batman Beyond” by Darwin Cook that looks futuristic. Cunningham and Doyle took fans through a slideshow commenting on what DC lovers can pick up now as well as look forward to…

| NYCC 2014 Interview: Once Upon A Time’s Sean Maguire
This year’s New York Comic-Con was filled to bursting with our favorite actors, writers, artists, and even wrestlers. Sean Maguire, who plays Robin Hood on ABC’s Once Upon a Time, took a minute from his autograph table to comment to me on his character’s relationship with Regina (Lana Parrilla) on the show.

| NYCC 2014: Warehouse 13’s Eddie McClintock Exclusive Interview
Warehouse 13‘s Eddie McClintock (Pete Lattimer) sat down for an on-the-fly video interview with Geeks of Doom at New York Comic-Con. “I like meeting fans,” he said. He then jokingly added, “I like being able to say ‘thank you’ for making it possible for my kids to go to a proper school.” Check out the video interview below to hear more from our fun, impromptu discussion with him. McClintock will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans at Autographing Table #26 today for the final day of the Con. He is also offering “free hugs,” so get in line early! Additionally, McClintock personally designed several Warehouse 13 t-shirts, which are available at his booth. Beyond the fun interview, Geeks Of Doom learned that the actor studied art in college, and his skills are quite literally put on display through the illustration and design of his shirts at NYCC.
