Who is Bruce Campbell? Seriously, this was a question I had to answer for my mother! Bruce Campbell is the King of the B-Actors, a true modern renaissance man. His IMDb page lists over a hundred credits. He’s a producer and director, as well as the author of a New York Times bestseller. But to fans around the world, the answer to the above question is simple: he’s Ash Williams, the chainsaw-handed lothario from the Evil Dead franchise. He’s also my favorite actor, someone I proudly waited 4 hours to meet at a horror convention, and whom I got to interview last year while on vacation with my family inside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando. That interview occurred over the phone in the quietest place I could find in a theme park known for loud attractions. A year later, lightning struck a second time. I was privileged to get to interview Mr. Bruce Campbell this month, and had time to discuss his upcoming book, as well as upcoming Season 3 of the Starz hit series Ash vs Evil Dead. Check out the interview here below.

| ‘Atomic Blonde’ Interview: Director David Leitch On Use Of 80s Music, Stunts, ‘Deadpool 2’ |

Creating killer soundtracks for a film appears to be in very high demand nowadays. From Guardians of the Galaxy to Baby Driver, the way that pop culture music is being used makes it feel as though they are a character in the film itself. And that couldn’t be truer for the upcoming action film Atomic Blonde. Set against the backdrop of the Cold War, Atomic Blonde takes place just before the fall of the Berlin Wall, with Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron) assigned to investigate the murder of a fellow MI6 agent, who was in possession of a top secret list, which in the wrong hands could expose every spy and operative. But as she searches for this elusive list, those working closest to her steer her in the wrong direction, in more ways than one. Without anyone to trust but herself, Lorraine finds out that getting that list and out of Berlin, alive, won’t be easy. So just imagine the Cold War canvas of bright 80s neon lights with contemporary covers of 80s British pop songs and action sequences that could only come from the mind of John Wick co-director David Leitch. We had a chance to talk to the director about his approach to the film, what he pitched to the producers, his use of music, that incredible one-shot action scene, and Deadpool 2. Check out our full interview with him here below.

| Interview: Meet Julie Ann Emery From AMC’s ‘Preacher’ |

Preacher on AMC is one of the craziest hours on TV week in week out. Approaching the midway point of its second season, each episode has offered jaw dropping scenes, combining Tarantino level violence with laugh out loud comedy. This season features a search for God himself, an unstoppable cowboy from Hell, and actual Hell where a character called “Arseface” routinely talks with Hitler. This week at San Diego Comic Con, the gang from Preacher showed off a trailer for the second half of the season, which focused on The Grail, an evil organization competing with our heroes to find God. The only member of the Grail we got a close look at was Lara Featherstone (Julie Ann Emery). Back in episode 3, Emery first was a sultry blonde lounge singer who attracted the attention of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper). She proved way more than meets the eye, after sharing some intense screen time with Jesse, the audience watched as Lara ditched her wig and revealed her true identity. Last week, I got a chance to speak with Julie Ann Emery about her role on Preacher, the show, and her career. Check out that interview below.

Few names are more synonymous with science fiction/horror than John Carpenter. With classic films like Halloween, The Thing, Escape From New York, and They Live the man literally explored almost everything that can scare you. In recent years, the director has left the silver screen and gone to the page. Carpenter and his wife and collaborator Sandy King started Storm King Productions, and have started writing and producing graphic novels and comics like Asylum and Tales For a Halloween Night. Their newest venture is Tales of Science Fiction, a monthly anthology series, with the first story “Vault” by James Ninness. Ninness worked with Storm King on Tales for a Halloween Night and has created comics Mythoi and inSanity, AZ. I got a chance to speak with Ninness about his upcoming Carpenter collaboration, which is debuting this week as well as his career, influences, and future. Check out the interview below.

It’s Summer! That means sun, beaches, blockbuster movies, and of course… shark infested tornadoes! That’s right, it’s time for another Sharknado! Back in 2013, the original Syfy channel film from the schlock studio kings The Asylum debuted, and became an instant hit on social media developing a huge following on twitter. The film’s two big stars were 90s icons Ian Ziering (90210) as Fin Shepard and Tara Reid (American Pie) as his ex-wife April Wexler. The craze around the first film has led to a new sequel each year since then, each one more ridiculous than the one before, and each featuring more and more celebrity cameos. The Sharknado films have taken these characters to space and back, across the United States, and now in the 5th installment, Global Swarming, around the world. Geeks of Doom got a chance to speak with April herself, Tara Reid, to discuss the upcoming Sharknado film, the franchise and her career. Check out the interview below.
