If you’ve seen one zombie movie, you’ve probably seen them all. The undead walking amongst the living and spreading the infection by chomping down on innocent victims. The rules of surviving this world have been well established throughout many zombie films.
But the latest from writer and director Jim Jarmusch (Broken Flowers, Only Lovers Left Alive), titled The Dead Don’t Die, portrays zombies in a different kind of light. One that will see Adam Driver leading “the greatest zombie cast ever disassembled.”

My family and I went to see “that Mr. Rogers movie.” It’s sad when things like kindness and empathy are considered “weird,†isn’t it? My son incredulously asked, “Was he really that way in real life?†In the documentary, Won’t You be my Neighbor, that question is addressed, and the simple answer is yes. Fred Rogers was that way in real life. He was more as well. In a world of CGI space lords and blockbuster action movies, Fred Rogers is the biggest and best hero of any film in 2018.
More below.

Movie Review: Tully

Tully
Director: Jason Reitman
Writer: Diablo Cody
Cast: Charlize Theron, Mackenzie Davis, Mark Duplass, Ron Livingston
Distributor: Focus Features
Rated PG-13 | Minutes: 96 Minutes
Release Date: May 4, 2018
For some, parenthood is easy and comes almost naturally. For others, it can be a bit of a challenge. And I cannot say that I am an authority figure on motherhood, given my clear lack of experience, but Jason Reitman‘s Tully, a comedy-drama starring Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis, is probably one of the most honest depictions of what it is like to be a mother in a contemporary age. Check out my full review of the film here below.
