Jumanji: The Next Level

Whenever a success like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle comes along, you can be sure studio execs will greenlight a sequel almost immediately. Now fans can get another chance to jump back into the game with Jumanji: The Next Level, which Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for. The sequel brings the gang (Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser’Darius Blain, and Morgan Turner) back together again when they are forced to enter the game in order to save one of their own. However, this comes with a few complications as some of them are not the avatars they played as when they played the first time.

Now with these new challenges, and some geriatric help, the gang will go on an all new adventure that will take them to unseen locations, meet all new characters, and face greater dangers. Check out the trailer below.

The Dead Don't Die

Focus Features has released a new trailer for The Dead Don’t Die, the zombie comedy from Broken Flowers and Only Lovers Left Alive writer and director Jim Jarmusch. The film features a huge cast, with Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane, Austin Butler, Luka Sabbat, and Tom Waits all starring.

The new trailer is of the restricted variety, which means it’s not so safe for workplace viewing. It’s only about a minute long, but the trailer packs in some funny moments and a few good zombie kills. You can find a synopsis for The Dead Don’t Die and watch the new trailer below.

The Dead Don't Die Trailer

If you’ve seen one zombie movie, you’ve probably seen them all. The undead walking amongst the living and spreading the infection by chomping down on innocent victims. The rules of surviving this world have been well established throughout many zombie films.

But the latest from writer and director Jim Jarmusch (Broken Flowers, Only Lovers Left Alive), titled The Dead Don’t Die, portrays zombies in a different kind of light. One that will see Adam Driver leading “the greatest zombie cast ever disassembled.”

Focus Features has released an official trailer for the film, and you can check it out below along with a poster.

The Old Man and the Gun Movie Review

The Old Man and the Gun
Director: David Lowery
Writer: David Lowery
Cast: Robert Redford, Casey Affleck, Danny Glover, Tika Sumpter, Tom Waits and Sissy Spacek
Distributor: Fox Searchlight Pictures
Rated PG-13 | Minutes: 93
Release Date: September 28, 2018

Effective storytelling is something that is hard to come by, but David Lowery‘s The Old Man and the Gun does it so well, making the characters in the film storytellers who tell a mostly true story about wild and romantic tales of charming bank robberies and fascinating jailbreaks. It is not only a love letter to Robert Redford‘s career, it is also a terrific capper for the legendary actor who will be leaving the acting game on a very high note.

The Old Man and the Gun brings out the very best in Redford by letting him be himself: a charismatic, charming, warm, gentleman who loves what he does and does what he loves. Surrounded by a terrific supporting cast that consists of Sissy Spacek, Casey Affleck, Tom Waits, Tika Sumpter, and Danny Glover, Lowery’s latest effort is a nostalgic reminder of what makes character-driven stories so captivating and why we go to the movies.
