WARNING: Spoilers for HBO’s Game Of Thrones….

Last week’s episode of Game Of Thrones saw Arya reunite, briefly, with her direwolf Nymeria while on her way back home to Winterfell; Jon Snow was heading to Dragonstone to join forces with Daenerys (!!!) while leaving Sansa in charge of the North in his absence; Samwell Tarly was attempting to cure Jorah Mormont of Greyscale, while his father Randyll Tarly was in King’s Landing with all the other Tyrell bannerman where Cersei and Jaime Lannister were trying to convince them to turn coat; and the show gave us what was possibly its most loving sex scene between a man and a woman, one of whom is a eunuch. It all ended insanely with crazy Uncle Euron Greyjoy attacking Yara and Theon’s fleet, which was carrying Ellaria Sand and her daughters, the Sand Snakes, back to Dorne to raise an army to fight Cersei. During the attack, not only were two Sand Snakes killed (Obara and Tyene), but Ellaria and Nymeria were taken captive, as was Yara. Theon, though, took the cowardly way out and jumped ship.

Blood Drive 107-06

Blood Drive
Season 1 Episode 7: “The Gentleman’s Agreement”
Created by James Roland
Directed by Lin Oeding
Written by James Roland
Starring Alan Ritchson, Christina Ochoa, Thomas Dominique, Marama Corlett, Colin Cunningham, Andrew Hall, Darren Kent, Renee Castle
Syfy
Air Date: Wednesday, July 26th, 2017, 10pm

Blood Drive on Syfy is television’s weekly foray into grindhouse madness. Last week there were Mad Max-style Amazon biker babes who used men as milk machines, you know the usual. Things came crashing down though for Grace (Christina Ochoa) whose entire motivation for joining the Drive was to rescue and help her sister Karma (Alex McGregor), found out Karma died initiating a rebellion that created the female-dominated society in the desert. The range of of emotions shown by Ochoa was fascinating. Usually such a sarcastic stone-cold badass, the episode ended with her heartbroken to silence as Arthur (Alan Ritchson), ever the steadfast and stoic good guy, tried desperately to reassure her things would get better. Getting better, is staying alive in the Blood Drive and defeating Heart Enterprises.

Warning! Spoilers below for last night’s episode of The Strain!

Last week on The Strain, it is a new world in New York City after Zach (Max Charles) set off the nuclear bomb in anger at his father, Eph (Corey Stoll). “The Partnership” now rules over their human slaves. Eph does side jobs for survival, but when he is captured, decided to join the cause with the people that rescued him. Fet, Quinlan, and Charlotte (Kevin Durand, Rupert Penry-Jones, Rhona Mitra) were in search of a nuclear missile, and may have found the answer in Roman, a fellow captive (not Quinlan – he showed up after they freed themselves). The Master (Jonathan Hyde) continued to believe in Zach’s potential, despite Eichort’s (Richard Sammel) protests.

Starring Dominic Cooper, Joe Gilgun, Ruth Negga, Gianna LePera, Graham McTavish, Tom Brooke, Ian Colletti, Julie Ann Emery
AMC
Air date: Monday, July 24th, 2017, 9pm

Spoilers below for last night’s episode of Preacher!

Last week on AMC’s Preacher, our three motley heroes faced different challenges. There was no dodging unkillable cowboys from Hell or hunting down God. Last week was about Jesse (Dominic Cooper) making a decision whether or not to kill Viktor (Paul Ben-Victor) aka Tulip’s husband. Jesse was fueled by jealousy and revenge. Tulip (Ruth Negga) could only stay back and hope Jesse didn’t cross the line and as usual, Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) was stuck between his rock and her hard place. Jesse made the right call, letting Viktor live after signing divorce papers, and the trio appeared back on track. Unfortunately for everyone involved, especially Viktor, The Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish) made it to New Orleans and is one step closer to getting his Preacher once and for all.
