| CES 2016: Syfy Uses Latest Tech To Showcase New Series ‘The Expanse’ |

Here at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, North Hall is full of big concepts. Samsung uses the space to show off their latest VR Gear devices while Ford’s massive display allows visitors to sit in a virtual vehicle as if it were a cockpit. But the area isn’t full of hardware manufacturers alone. Syfy, long a purveyor of the types of fantasy and space opera dramas that imagine the very types of technologies that we often see here at CES, has their own little booth. Promoting their latest space fantasy, the The Expanse, the Syfy Labs booth uses the latest technology to show how viewers can interact with their devices. The Expanse booth includes a VR station where passers-by can stop and experience some of the space scenes in virtual reality. Continue below for more and to see some images and a video.
