The best kind of theme park rides are the ones that truly take you into environments of the story. At Universal Studios Hollywood, Fast and Furious: Supercharged does just that! It’s crazy to think that the backlot tram can transform into a high-speed chase vehicle, but they totally did it. You start off on the regular theme park tour which then finds itself under threat when Dom Torretto and Owen Shaw go head-to-head in a chase you come along for through the streets and highways of Los Angeles. The immersive 360 experience pushes the envelope for theme park rides. It uses similar hydraulic tech like on Disney World’s Star Tours, but on a longer scale that isn’t as encapsulated. | Disney In Depth: Remembering Disneyland’s New Tomorrowland
As Disney’s Tomorrowland hits theaters, we reflect back on those memories of visiting the futuristic area of the Magic Kingdom, whether Walt Disney World’s Florida park or Disneyland in California. Some may have even traveled to Disneyland Paris’s Discoveryland or the Tomorrowland found in Tokyo or Hong Kong. My first experiences at Disneyland’s Tomorrowland occurred during a transcendent juncture, a state of transition for the now-dated environment. I initially crossed the cracked pavement in 1996, a period when Tomorrowland progressed into a state of massive refurbishment. New Tomorrowland would land in 1998. But its anticipated arrival would quickly cease. This is a story of great vision undermined by disappointment and dysfunction. Set on your Rocket Rod and shoot back 17 years to New Tomorrowland.

| Disney In Depth: Disneyland’s Exciting 60th Anniversary Plans
Disney knows how to celebrate its anniversaries. Remember the pop culture phenomenon that was Disneyland‘s 50th? That more-than-yearlong event a decade ago was one of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts’ most major milestones to date. Ten years later we honor the park’s 60th. While not as noteworthy as the previous one, longtime Disney fans will be delighted by the array of new entertainment and “enhanced” features within attractions. Let’s dive right in!
