Star Wars The Force Awakens trailer 15

Ready to feel nauseous? Because you’re about to feel nauseous. It’s being reported that a Star Wars spoof is on the way from the infamous duo of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, who have played a major role in the slow and agonizing death of the parody genre. There could be more humorous takes on blockbuster films, but these are just a few of the films that Variety mentions in their report.

Let’s face it: Seltzer and Friedberg don’t deliver the highest quality of filmmaking, in fact all of their films have been movies that make fun of other filmmakers. But to me, they really set the bar low on filmmaking. Out of all the films they have written, directed, and produced, all but two has received a double digit rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and even then that movie was still rotten. And some how studios keep finding a way to finance and distribute their films.
