It’s being reported that a Star Wars spoof is on the way from the infamous duo of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, who have played a major role in the slow and agonizing death of the parody genre. You might have thought that the pair responsible for such atrocities as Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, Disaster Movie, Vampires Suck, The Starving Games, and more were locked away in that Indiana Jones warehouse long ago, but it appears not. Or they escaped.

The movie will be called exactly what you’d expect a movie like this to be titled, Star Worlds Episode XXXIVE=MC2: The Force Awakens The Last Jedi Who Went Rogue. Yes, seriously. I read it 12 times to make sure. On the happy side of things, we don’t know the official titles of the Han Solo spinoff or Episode IX yet, so a couple of good seconds were just added to your life.
