| ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Trailer: Rebellions Are Built On Hope
Following the release of the final poster for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Disney has unveiled the final trailer for the highly anticipated film. The story follows a band of rebels, led by Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) as they attempt to steal the plans to the Death Star. Based on the look of the poster alone, one could say that this will be a very diverse film lead by a strong female character. As previous trailers have suggested, the first Star Wars spinoff will bring a ground-war perspective to the franchise. Now this latest trailer reinforces that notion. Check it out below.

| Michael Giacchino Replaces Alexandre Desplat To Score ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’
It’s not as though Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is not used to changes. This past summer, the Star Wars spinoff went through a series of reshoots, with Tony Gilroy providing much of the rewrites to the script. At the time, the film had already completed principal photography, and rumors of 40% of the film were quickly shot down. While reshoots are just a part of any blockbuster tentpole, it has had a bit of a negative impact. In the wake of these reshoots, Oscar-winning composer Alexandre Desplat will no longer be composing the score for the film. But all is not lost as he will be replaced by another Oscar-winning composer, and one who is familiar with Disney and science fiction. A new report says Michael Giacchino will now conduct the score for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. More on the story below.

| 65 Things To Know About Disney’s ‘Moana’ |
 |

This November, Walt Disney Animation Studio will be releasing their second theatrical feature of the year and their 56th overall, Moana. Longtime Disney collaborators John Musker and Ron Clements return to direct this film about a teenage Polynesian princess who ventures out on a journey to save her people and to find her identity. The film brings in all sorts of talent that we’ve pretty much come to expect from the studio, from the voice talents of Auli”˜i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Jemaine Clement, Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Alan Tudyk, and Nicole Scherzinger, right down to the music from Opetaia Foa’i, Mark Mancina, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. In August, Disney invited us (along with a group of fellow journalists) to watch a couple of scenes and learn about the process of developing a script, creating the film’s setting, polishing the effects, and creating the two lead characters: Moana and Maui. Just like Zootopia, it has become apparent that the studio emphasizes the importance of research for their stories and pushing the envelope in animation. Check out what we learned from the scenes and the presentation below.
