We’ve already seen a bunch of photos of Twilight star Taylor Lautner in action in his new conspiracy-thriller Abduction, as well as the first trailer for movie.

Now, Lionsgate has released the second trailer for the film, directed by John Singleton. Watch the new trailer here below.

Despite what your views may be on The Twilight Saga, the franchise has made absurd amounts of money and it’s been expected all along that star Taylor Lautner was destined for big things in his post-Twilight career.

The actor has lined up many various roles in the past year or so, one of which is called Abduction. The movie tells the story of a normal everyday kid who discovers he’s in a directory of abducted children, which opens up a storm of twists and turns as he goes on the run and searches for answers.

A trailer for the movie, which is directed by John Singleton and also stars Lily Collins, Maria Bello, Jason Isaacs, Sigourney Weaver, and Alfred Molina, has been released by Lionsgate, and you can see it by clicking on over to the other side now.

Taylor Lautner Abduction

Earlier this week, the first look was released of Taylor Lautner in the upcoming conspiracy thriller Abduction.

Liongate has released two more images today of Lautner in Abduction, where he plays a high school senior who finds his baby photo on a missing persons website, and realizes the people who raised him aren’t his real parents.

Check out the photos here below; one is a behind-the-scenes look at Lautner running (it seems like he’ll be doing quite a bit of this in the film); the other is of Lautner with co-star Lily Collins. I also updated the first-look photo of Lautner with a hi-res version.

Disneys The Sorcerers Apprentice movie posterThe Sorcerer’s Apprentice
Directed by Jon Turteltaub
Starring Jay Baruchel, Nicolas Cage, Alfred Molina, Teresa Palmer, Toby Kebbell
Release date: July 14, 2010

I’ll save you the suspense. Despite the fact that I don’t find it a particularly good movie, I liked The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Don’t mistake that for indecision. I think people’s ability to compartmentalize their taste in movies has a direct impact on their enjoyment of movies as entertainment. Saying a movie is bad isn’t the same as saying you didn’t like it. For as evolved as a lot of our taste in movies have become, there are still those inexplicable few that slip through that we like despite every inclination not to. I grew up watching some terrible movies and liked quite a lot of them. Some I still do. I know they are bad, but there is more that goes into liking a movie than knowing it was well made. Nostalgia, perspective, fandom, all of these things can also shape our experience outside of the quality of the film itself. We just like what we like and sometimes there is just no explanation for having a good time watching a movie. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is that experience for me.
