| Zack Snyder’s Superman Reboot ‘Man Of Steel’ Gets An Official Synopsis
Comic Book Movie has the rundown on an upcoming casting call for Zack Snyder‘s upcoming reboot of the Superman franchise, titled Man of Steel, which also comes with the first official synopsis for the movie. The open casting call will be held in Nanaimo and Ucluelet on Vancouver Island when shooting moves from Chicago to British Columbia on September 21, 2011. | Laurence Fishburne Set To Play Superman’s Boss In Zack Snyder’s ‘Man Of Steel’
The cast of Zack Snyder‘s Superman reboot, Man of Steel, is coming together nicely, and now an actor has been chosen to play the big boss man to Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) and Lois Lane (Amy Adams) at The Daily Planet, Perry White. Entertainment Weekly has learned exclusively that Laurence Fishburne has been cast to play White, who’s typically known as a tough–but–fair editor–in–chief of the newspaper. Fishburne just recently had a two–season run on the hit CBS show, CSI, which he departed from in May.

| Zack Snyder’s Superman Reboot ‘Man Of Steel’ Pushed Back Six Months
Movie release dates are about as unreliable as anything entertainment–related gets. Studios set dates they want to aim for, but it isn’t until things start coming together and production gets moving that a release can be planned, and on most occasions the date that’s set will at some point change. But sometimes a change is much more significant than a month up or down, making it worth note. Warner Brothers has announced that their Superman reboot, Man of Steel, will not be released in December of 2012 as first reported, but that it will now be released on June 14, 2013.

The cast for Warner Brothers’ reboot of the Superman franchise, titled Man of Steel, has been impressive so far, bringing in a collection of interesting names for the many iconic roles available. But they’re not done yet. According to Variety, the movie””which is being “godfathered” by The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan and directed by Zack Snyder“”has chosen Russell Crowe to play the role of Jor-El, the father of Superman once played by the late, great Marlon Brando in the 1978 film starring Christopher Reeve as the superhero.

| Strange First Teaser Trailer For ‘The Muppets’ Released Online
Over the weekend, many of you who ventured out to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides were treated to the very first teaser trailer for Disney’s new Muppet movie…fittingly titled The Muppets, of course. The thing about the teaser trailer is that it was made to try and surprise people. It’s presented as a fairly awful looking new romance movie starring Amy Adams and Jason Segel called Green With Envy, and this faux trailer goes on for a quite a while before they spring the trap on us and reveal what the movie actually is.
