| Is Kylo Ren A Sith Lord In ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’?
With just under four months before the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the mystery behind everything that surrounds the film is slowly beginning to unravel, but somehow throughout the marketing campaign, we still don’t know that much about it. It’s a great thing to see that Disney and Lucasfilm have been able to keep much of the mystery box closed, which only adds to the intrigue of the highly anticipated film. Rest assured, more details will be revealed as we get closer to the film’s release, especially with a full-length trailer dropping this Fall. For those who cannot wait that long, and need their new Star Wars news fix, today’s report should get you going. Director J.J. Abrams has revealed some interesting tidbits about Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) as well as Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis). More on this below.

| New ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Photos Feature Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, General Hux & More! |
 |

This week brought the very first TV spot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The ad featured one piece of new footage, but it was exciting enough to get fans ready for what we thought was going to be another huge panel for Disney’s upcoming D23 Expo. Then director J.J. Abrams confirmed that there would be no new footage shown. So yes, there will probably be nothing to report on, generally when it comes to any one of the panels at D23, the cast just reminisce about spending their younger days at Disneyland or how they dream of going their because they’ve never been. Whatever the case, just don’t expect to see anything new from The Force Awakens. But to make up for it all, Disney has released a bunch of new images from the film featuring our first looks at General Hux (Domnhall Gleeson), a close-up at Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) in action, C-3PO with a red arm, and much more. Check out all the photos here below.

| J.J. Abrams Confirms No New ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Footage At D23 Expo |

Disney skips San Diego Comic-Con every other year for their own mega Disney fan convention, the D23 Expo. Happening every odd year, the D23 Expo is an event that showcases everything about Disney, from their own studio, to Pixar, to Marvel, and now Lucasfilm. So with the studio notably absent from this year’s Comic-Con, one would think they would reserve all the new footage for their own panels, especially since Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, and Marvel weren’t there. The studio did, however, share some exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of Star Wars: The Force Awakens at the Con, which did confirm a few things like Daisy Ridley’s Rey piloting the Millennium Falcon. However, there is some unfortunate news to report. Even though Star Wars will have a presence at the D23 Expo this weekend, don’t expect to see any new footage or behind-the-scenes stuff during the live-action panel. More on this story below.

| ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Will Be At Comic-Con
The lack of Disney will surely be felt at San Diego Comic-Con this year. There will be no Disney Animation Studios. No Disney live-action films. No Pixar. And most definitely no Marvel. There will however, be a panel for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, this after the franchise had their Star Wars Celebration event back in April. The cast and filmmakers will be on hand for what is expected to be the major event of the entire convention. More on the story below, including the full San Diego Comic-Con Star Wars schedule.

| Andy Serkis ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Character Revealed
Andy Serkis won’t be revealing his face in a film any time soon. But at least we finally know the identity of his character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
