| Zoe Kravitz Joins ‘The Batman’ As Catwoman
It has been somewhat of a long and winding road for WB’s next Batman standalone film. Considering all of the setbacks that they had to go through and the difficulties launching it with Ben Affleck’s short-lived stint as the character, you can’t really blame the studio for wanting to take a fresh approach. And hopefully, they will be getting that from writer and director Matt Reeves‘ tentatively titled The Batman. The film has already cast Robert Pattinson as the world’s greatest detective, and if all goes according to plan, he will be joined by Jeffrey Wright, who will play Commissioner Gordon, and Jonah Hill who could be playing either the Riddler or the Penguin. But as they get all of their talks straightened out, it looks like the film will be adding a heroine to the mix. According to new reports, Zoe Kravitz will be playing Catwoman. More on that below.

| Jonah Hill In Talks To Play A Villain In Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’
Batman fans recently celebrated a day that is dedicated to the Dark Knight, and it seems very fitting that we are hearing a lot of casting news regarding the hero’s upcoming standalone film. Matt Reeves writes and directs the tentatively titled The Batman, with Robert Pattinson set to play the title role. Shortly before this, it was reported that Jeffrey Wright was in talks to play Commissioner Gordon. And now, the film may have found one of its villains. The question is, which one? According to reports, Jonah Hill is in talks to either play the Penguin or the Riddler. More on the report below.

| Ben Affleck’s Standalone ‘Batman’ Movie Would Have Explored Arkham Asylum
Arkham Asylum has been fixture within the Batman lore. It serves as the one jail exclusive to Batman villains. And though fans haven’t seen much of it in any of the recent DCEU films, it would have served as the main setting for Ben Affleck‘s standalone Batman film: you know, the one DCEU film that he was supposed to direct that never came to be. Well now, Affleck’s Live by Night cinematographer Robert Richardson is talking about how the film was supposed to be. Check out what he had to say here below.
