For the many fans eagerly hoping for the announcement of Borderlands 3, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. A new game in the series has been announced, but it is both a prequel and a sequel fittingly titled Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!
The game is set after the events of Borderlands and prior to the events of Borderlands 2 in what sounds like a project that began as DLC and evolved into a full standalone game.
