The Last Man On Earth 201 Header

The Last Man On Earth season 2 returns this Sunday, and the funniest apocalyptic characters return with it. Last season found Phil Miller (Will Forte), as the last man on Earth (or so he thought), until he met Carol (Kristen Schaal), whom he married, Melissa (January Jones), whom he lusted after, Todd (Mel Rodriguez), who dated Melissa, Gail and Erica (Mary Steenburgen and Cleopatra Coleman), and the other Phil Miller (Boris Kodjoe), all in his hometown of Tucson. Phil did nothing right becuase he was so often morally wrong, and he ended up banished. At the end, Carol still loved him and they left Tucson together. To get you ready for the next adventure, FOX has released a bunch of clips.

Check out the videos below.

Last Man On Earth Promo

When last we saw Phil Miller and Carol Pilbasian (Will Forte and Kristen Schaal), she had come to the desert to run away with him, after he got banished from Tucson by the other Phil Miller (Boris Kodjoe) and the gang. She realized that despite his lying, cheating (or attempts thereof), narcissism, and basically morally inept character, they belonged to each other. He had realized this way before, when hot Phil Miller and she got it on.

Check out the promo below.

The Last Man On Earth Phil Miller 2

The Last Man On Earth
Season 1 Episode 12: “The Tandyman Can”
Created by Will Forte, Phil Lord, and Christopher Miller
Starring Will Forte, January Jones, Kristen Schaal, Mel Rodriguez, Cleopatra Coleman, Mary Steenburgen, Boris Kodjoe
FOX
Air Date: Sunday, April 26th, 2015, 9:30pm

Let’s do a brief recap of last week’s episode before we get to The Last Man On Earth 1.12 “The Tandyman Can” review.

And then there were seven. A new man enters the mix, despite Phil’s (Will Forte) efforts to prevent this. Double-booked dates with both Erica and Gail, he runs to his “Alive In Tucson” billboard to spray “Moved To Tampa” over it. His ladder falls and he is stranded there, burnt by the Arizona sun. Carol (Kristen Schaal) is about to organize a search party, when Phil Miller shows up. Not Will Forte’s Phil Miller, but Boris Kodjoe‘s Phil Miller (also his name), who walks over carrying their Phil. Hubba hubba! Since there is this incredible coincidence of two exact same names, the suggestion is for the Phils to go by their middle names. The first Phil’s middle name is Tandy. The second Phil has no middle name. So now there is incredibly handsome Phil… and Tandy.

SDCC 2012: Resident Evil panel

Resident Evil: Retribution, the upcoming newest installment (its 5th) from the Resident Evil franchise, based on the video game series and one of the first supernatural films to showcase the outbreak and ultimate terror of zombies, had its panel today at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con. Comprised of the film’s star Milla Jojovich and supporting cast Michelle Rodriguez, Oded Fehr, Boris Kodjoe, Mika Nakashima (a pop star in Japan who needed a translator to answer her questions), and writer/director and husband of Jojovich, Paul W.S. Anderson, the panel also showcased never before seen film footage from the production in 3D that the large audience mainly ate up (no pun intended).

Starting with the said footage, which was a new trailer and introduced by the moderator of the panel, local Los Angeles DJ Ralph Garman and Anderson, who mentioned he wanted to make the first truly post apocalyptic film, which spans the globe in terms of locations, stretching in areas as wide as Tokyo to Times Square, Anderson also spoke of the depth of Jojovich’s character Alice, and the fact that he wanted to make this production with the most balls-out, intense action yet in the franchise.
