| Sylvester Stallone Says Harrison Ford Is Replacing Bruce Willis For ‘The Expendables 3’
Sylvester Stallone commonly takes to his Twitter feed to keep fans informed with up-to-the-minute news regarding his latest projects. Lately he’s been blowing up the feed with rumors about who will or won’t be directing/starring in/operating the boom mike on The Expendables 3, which is set for release late next summer. Today Stallone dropped a mighty big bomb – bigger than Rhinestone even – about the latest old-school action hero to join him, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and whoever else has yet to join the cast. News flash: he’s bigger than the entire cast combined…Harrison Ford. And even more interesting is this is apparently not a casting addition, but a replacement of Bruce Willis.

| Terry Gilliam’s Science-Fiction Classic ’12 Monkeys’ To Become A SyFy Original Series |
|
SyFy is on the hunt for more new series to add to their roster of original programming, and now they’re looking to the mid-1990s for some inspiration. The network is developing an ongoing series based on 12 Monkeys, the 1995 post-apocalyptic thriller directed by Terry Gilliam. In the film, Bruce Willis played a criminal in a future where most of Earth’s population has been wiped out by a virus supposedly unleashed by a terrorist organization that called itself the Army of the 12 Monkeys. Willis’ character is enlisted by a group of scientists to travel back in time to the early 1990s to pinpoint the origins of the virus and possibly stop the Army from destroying most of the human race. Once he reaches his destination he discovers that everything he knew was a fabrication and must rely on the help of a psychiatrist (Madeline Stowe) and the insane son (Brad Pitt) of a prominent virologist (Christopher Plummer) to save the world while simultaneously attempting to deduce if he is actually going mad and the entire adventure is a figment of his imagination.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation
Directed by Jon M. Chu
Screenplay by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick
Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Bruce Willis
Paramount Pictures
Rated PG-13 | 110 Minutes
Release Date: March 28, 2013 Directed by Jon M. Chu (Step Up 3D), G.I. Joe: Retaliation is the sequel to Stephen Sommers’ instantly forgettable 2009 film, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. At the conclusion of that film, Zartan (Arnold Vosloo), having had his physical appearance altered by nanomites, infiltrates the White House and assumes the identity of the President of the United States of America (Jonathan Pryce). Chu’s sequel begins with Zartan in control of the United States government. The master of make-up and disguise frames the G.I. Joes as traitors and launches an all-out attack on the Joes, wiping out their ranks (including Channing Tatum‘s Sgt. Duke) in one fell swoop. Meanwhile, Storm Shadow (Lee Byung-hun) and Firefly (Ray Stevenson) infiltrate a top-secret subterranean prison to free Cobra Commander. Previously portrayed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the supreme leader of COBRA is played by Australian actor Luke Bracey this time around and voiced by Robert Baker. Cobra Commander’s plan is simple: eliminate the world’s stockpile of nuclear weapons so COBRA can rule the world unopposed by using Zeus, a sub-orbital weapon of mass destruction that’s twice as powerful as a nuclear bomb.
