USA Network
Air date: Wednesday, August 24, 2016, 10pm Sorry for the delay in this review, but I was in Orlando with my family last week. In the last episode of Mr. Robot, two bombshells were dropped. The first one was that Elliot (Rami Malek) killed Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallstrom), and the 2nd was that he had been incarcerated this whole time. Everything was in his head, and the whole Ray (Craig Robinson) storyline was the vehicle his brain needed to come to compromise with Mr. Robot (Christian Slater), and go back to finish the job of crippling E-Corp. Without him, Darlene (Carly Chaikin) enlisted Angela (Portia Doubleday) to help hack the FBI in efforts to keep them off their tails. Spoilers below.

USA Network
Air date: Wednesday, August 17, 2016, 10pm Last week we watched as Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) toyed with Elliot’s mind, making him think his life was unraveling like a cheesy 80s sitcom. The real story was not as fun. Elliot (Rami Malek) was being held by Ray (Craig Robinson) and his goons. Ray created a secret website that offers guns, explosives, women, murder for hire, and basically any other twisted thing you can imagine, and Elliot saw it. Meanwhile Fsociety was trying to hack the FBI. Darlene (Carly Chaikin) enlisted Angela (Portia Doubleday) to put the hack in motion, but that brought Angela face to face with Agent DiPierro (Grace Gummer) who was fresh off her return from China, where The Dark Army (a group of cyber terrorists) murdered several FBI agents. In order for Elliot to get back in the game, it appears he will have to work with Mr. Robot. Spoilers for this week’s Mr. Robot.

USA Network
Air date: Wednesday, August 10, 2016, 10pm Last week we saw glimmers of hope, and then crashed back to reality. Elliot (Rami Malek) got a visit from Angela (Portia Doubleday), and seemed to be getting better. He was less paranoid, and more accepting of Mr. Robot (Christian Slater). The plan was to get Angela to take an fsociety logic bomb, and hack into the FBI. Elliot also discovered what Ray (Craig Robinson) was up to, and it’s not pretty. He uncovered a secret website which caters to the dark and depraved, and when Ray found out, Elliot was dragged out of bed by goons in the middle of the night. Meanwhile the FBI was in China trying to make connections between The Dark Army and the hack that halted the US economy. That didn’t go too well for Agent DiPierro (Grace Gummer), when a group of masked men stormed the FBI and shot and killed a number of them. If The Dark Army was willing to kill federal agents, I have to imagine killing fsociety hackers isn’t too big a deal for them. Spoilers for this week’s Mr. Robot below.

Air date: Wednesday, August 3, 2016, 10pm Last time on Mr. Robot, Elliot (Rami Malek) was one step closer to letting Mr. Robot back into his life. The reason? Darlene (Carly Chaikin) feared the Dark Army was after them. The Dark Army are the most dangerous hacker group on Earth who helped fsociety pull off their massive hack of EVIL Corp. One member of the group had already been murdered and Darlene was paranoid she’s being followed. Angela (Portia Doubleday) was beginning to see how deep the evil of E-Corp runs. So far this season, Mr. Robot was like the Republican National Convention, full of fear, paranoia, eccentric business tycoons, and undeniably crazy fun. Spoilers for this week’s Mr. Robot below.
