Taika Waititi is easily the busiest person in Hollywood. Sure, he directed some great indie hits like What We Do in the Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople before Marvel Studios signed him on to direct Thor: Ragnarok and its sequel Thor: Love and Thunder.

Now he’s behind Jojo Rabbit, which Fox Searchlight has released an official trailer for. The film will be making the festival rounds and is positioned for an awards season run this November. Not only does Waititi direct this satirical history piece, but he also stars as an imaginary best friend to a young German boy. The twist on that is that the imaginary best friend takes the form of Adolf Hitler. Check out the trailer below.

The film is an anti-hate World War II satire which centers on a German boy named Jojo “Rabbit” Betzler who discovers that his mother is hiding a young Jewish girl, and whose imaginary friend happens to be Adolf Hitler. Check out the trailer and a poster below.
