[Carvana’s humongous vending machine mock-up in Austin during SXSW 2017.]We caught up with Carvana here in Austin, TX, at SXSW 2017. The Phoenix-based used car company calls itself a start up, but the truth is that it’s been around for at least four years, having been founded in 2013. Carvana claims that they’re new vending machine technology, which was first reported on last month, allows users to find used cars easily and then make major life decisions in the form of a car purchase, hassle-free, via massive vending machine.

When: Saturday, June 14th, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. It was a hot humid San Antonio day outside, but it was a different matter in the air-conditioned confines of the Wonderland of the Americas Mall in San Antonio, TX this weekend. Nine-Tails, a unique anime and J-Pop culture shop set up in 2010 by co-owners Justin and Nati, in conjunction with San Japan, a local fan-run organization, held a “mini-mini con” for fans of anime, manga, and cosplay to come out, show their support for the upcoming San Japan: Samurai 7 anime convention, and pre-register for the main event coming in July at the HBG Convention Center in downtown San Antonio.

| Con Preparation: The Proper Way To Cosplay |

In consideration of this weekend’s C2E2 convention in Chicago, Illinois, I wanted to take a moment to talk to some attendees and discuss the proper way to cosplay. Now, the first thing that you should know about this collection of suggestions is that I am one of the few that can truly appreciate all forms of cosplay whether it be prepared months to years in advance, down to putting on a Jake hat and just wearing brown. So, don’t think this is article that is meant to condemn anyone for their cosplaying desires. And while I’ve not actually cosplayed at a convention, I celebrate Halloween like it should be celebrated. So, I have some expertise within the social costuming segment of the population. Also, you’ll get a bit of a view from someone that shows appreciation to your effort, while also having to deal with the elaborateness of your chosen costume. So, now that we’ve given the parameters of this guideline, let us move along unto the actual list.
