Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, premieres on FOX tonight, Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 9pm ET/PT. This first hour-long episode, titled “Standing Up in the Milky Way,” marks the launch of a new 13-part series and aims to reboot Carl Sagan’s original 1980’s series, Cosmos: A Personal Journey, for 21st century audiences.

The first trailer for Fox’s reboot of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos was shown off at San Diego Comic-Con, and you can watch it here now.

The reboot, officially titled Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, is a 13-part documentary series hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and produced by Family Guy and American Dad! creator Seth MacFarlane.
