| Full Trailer For Disney-Pixar’s ‘Brave’ Now Online
The summer of 2012 brings with it a special treat as the ongoing kick of sequels and prequels from Pixar Animation (Toy Story 3, Cars 2, and 2013’s Monsters University) takes a break for a brand new and original title from co-directors Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, titled Brave. We’ve seen the wonderful-yet-brief teaser trailer, and now a full trailer has been released The movie is the first period film from Pixar, going back to old Scotland where the daughter of a king decides to shake things up a little. | New Images From Pixar’s ‘Brave’ Released
A trio of new images from the upcoming Disney*Pixar feature, Brave, have been released online. In the images we see a new shot of the fiery-haired Princess Merida (Kelly Macdonald), a look at Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson), King Fergus (Billy Connolly), Merida, and triplet Princes Harris, Hubert, and Hamish, and lastly, an image of Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson), and Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane). | Amanda Palmer, Neil Gaiman, Moby & Stephin Merritt Perform ‘Rocky Horror’ Song
Fans of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson got a nice little seasonal surprise on last week on the Halloween episode when alt rocker Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls, author and comics (Sandman) scribe Neil Gaiman (also Palmer’s husband), techno music trailblazer Moby, and Stephin Merritt of the pop rock group the Magnetic Fields got together to perform “Science Fiction Double Feature,” the opening song from the stage and film musical versions of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. After a short break, the TARDISblend is back, as we take a look at the news for Doctor Who and Torchwood that came out of San Diego Comic-Con, and look at the most recent episodes of Torchwood: Miracle Day.
We cover the major news and information revealed to fans at San Diego Comic-Con 2011. From details about upcoming Torchwood episodes, to the big news revelations for Doctor Who, we discuss it all! Additionally we take a look at Matt Smith‘s appearance on the Craig Ferguson Show; and examine what may happen if Toby Jones returned as the Dream Lord. As Miracle Day continues, the CIA team have captured the remaining members of Torchwood, Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) and Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles). However, the CIA have turned against their own, attempting to wipe out any remnant of Torchwood, and Rex Matheson (Mekhi Pfifer) and Esther Drummond (Alexa Havins) find themselves uniting with the ones they have captured.

If you are tired of seeing a summer blockbuster involving superheroes, wizards, or transforming robots, perhaps a trip through the Hundred Acre Wood would do you some good. For the first time in six years, Winnie the Pooh returns to the big screen in a brand new feature from Disney Pictures simply titled Winnie the Pooh. Pooh’s friend Eeyore’s tail has gone missing and it is up to Pooh to find it. Pooh discovers soon that a tail is not the only thing that is missing. It seems his human friend Christopher Robin has also disappeared, leaving a curious note behind. Where has Christopher gone? Does it have anything to do with Eeyore’s missing tail? And who or what is a “Backson?” The film, which is based off of three Pooh stories written by creator A.A. Milne, doesn’t try hard to reinvent the wheel. The characters are not rebooted or remade for the new generation. Its sole purpose is to tell an entertaining, by the book story about Winnie the Pooh and accomplishes this task with flying colors.
