Official Trailer For ‘Happy!’ Season 2 Released

SYFY has released an official trailer for Happy! season two, which once again stars Christopher Meloni as an ex-cop named Nick Sax and Patton Oswalt as an imaginary flying blue unicorn named Happy.
This is easily the batshit craziest show on TV right now, and judging by this new trailer it looks like they’ve cranked that insanity up to 11 for the second season. Which is fitting considering the series comes from Crank and Crank: High Voltage writer and director Brian Taylor. He co-created the series, which is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson, with Morrison.
You can find more info on Happy! and check out the official season two trailer below.

We’ve been hearing about an adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson‘s The Boys for quite some time now, but nothing ever came of it for many years.
But that’s since changed. The Boys, which is set in a world where superheroes exist and follows a group of vigilantes who are called in to deal with said superheroes when they get out of line, is currently being adapted into a new series for Amazon. And now a director has been hired to help bring the pilot episode of that series to life. It’s being reported that Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane, Black Mirror) has signed on to direct the first episode of the planned eight-episode first season.

SYFY Orders ‘Happy!’ Season 2

I don’t get to watch a lot of new TV shows I’m interested in checking out. Mainly because I’m terrible at keeping up with them. A molasses-slow consumer of all things entertainment. If it’s not called Game of Thrones, chances are I’m way behind.
But one new show I just had to check out recently was SYFY’s Happy! and man, am I glad I did. Pretty much every way to describe how crazy the show is has been used by those who have watched it, and they’re all accurate. It’s the most batshit bonkers TV show I have ever seen. Which is why it’s so exciting to learn that SYFY has officially ordered a season two.
